Desde que tuve la idea de comenzar un blog dedicado a THE DOORS quise llenarlo de contenido original, curiosidades y rarezas así como comentarios muy personales escritos por mí misma que pudieran entreteneros lo más posible. Por este motivo tengo claro que no me repetiré demasiado en contenidos sobre los que ya podéis leer una y mil veces en centenares de páginas en Internet, y si hablo de cosas que ya conocéis sobre la historia del grupo y sus componentes al menos intentaré hacerlo desde un punto de vista distinto, y en un tono que además de entretener os resulte divertido o incluso picante.
Por ejemplo: ¿Por qué he hablado del paquete de Jim? Y...¿Por qué no? Poco a poco además os daréis cuenta de que intentaré ser lo más objetiva posible con ciertas observaciones, porque aunque soy una fan total tanto del grupo como del gran personaje que fue y sigue siendo Jim Morrison, tampoco creo que debamos encumbrar a nadie e idolatrarlo hasta el punto de que creamos que efectivamente, la perfección existe! No amigos, las cosas no son tampoco ni tan blancas ni tan negras....Pero este rollo os lo suelto otro día.
En este artículo voy a mostraros algunos de los artistas que he ido encontrando por la red que han pintado lienzos o láminas con Jim Morrison como protagonista. He seleccionado los mejores, a mi criterio. Os pongo la foto de muestra de cada cuadro y el enlace donde podéis adquirirlo si os alcanza el bolsillo. No hace falta decir que en cuanto tenga "pasta" me decoro la casa en condiciones. Tiembla Patricia Kennealy! Lo de mi casa sí que va a ser un auténtico templo de adoración al más grande, al único, al "fantasticodélico" Jimmmmmmmm!
PD: Con la comisión que me podrían dar los artistas por enlazar a sus webs podría decorarme la casa, ¿no?

Since I had the idea of starting a blog dedicated to THE DOORS I wanted to fill it up with original content, curiosities and rarities as well as with very personal comments written by myself to entertain you as much as possible. For this reason I have clear in my mind that I won't be repetitive about comments you can already read thousand times on hundreds of webpages, and if I ever talk about facts you already know about the band and its members, I will at least try to do it from a different point of view, and using a tone that apart from entertain you sounds funny or even spicy.
For example: Why have I told about Jim's bulge? And...Why not to do it? Bit by bit you will realize that I try to be as much objective as possible regarding certain observations, because even though I'm a huge fan of the band and of course of the great character Jim Morrison was and still is, I don't really think we should idolize anybody so we think that hell yeah, perfection does really exist! Not at all my friends, things are neither so white nor so black...But I will leave this stuff for another day.
On this article I will present you some of the artists I've been finding by the net who have painted canvas/illustrations featuring Jim as protagonist. I've selected the best ones, to my criterion. I upload the sample picture of each artwork and the link where you can purchase it if your pocket can afford it. Well, you can imagine what I'm gonna do myself, once I get some fresh cash to decorate my house in conditions. You'll see Patricia Kennealy! Not yours but my house is gonna look really like an authentical temple where to adore the great, the unique and "fantastichedelic" Jimmmmmm!

Otro bonito lienzo aunque me pregunto por qué nadie usa una de las otras muchas imágenes de Jim. Hay cientos de fotos interesantes de él pero todo el mundo parece centrarse en la serie "The Young Lion"...
Another beautiful canvas even though I wonder why nobody uses any of the other many images of Jim. There are hundreds of interesting pictures of him but everybody focuses on the same "The Young Lion" series....
